As a workshop facilitator I have heard many things that surprise and/or delight me. One of the things I've heard is "she wants everyone to paint like her" this could not be further from the truth.
Philip Guston wrote "when you are in the studio painting, there are a lot of people in there with you."
A little bit of each of my teachers are with me always.
My goal is simply to be a conduit for artists to grow through challenges, information, and demonstration. I'm sharing what worked for me over the years and of course and more importantly, what didn't.
It's hard to teach someone how to be intuitive and let go of continually thinking of the "outcome"
I understand this learning process is difficult, its a guttural and personal experience.
Work hard, stay focused, stay disciplined, and your voice will come.
Develop your own identity.
Perhaps I will be a small voice in your studio.
Many Blessings,
Theresa

There are a few spots (2) left in the Visual Development Residency in Jamestown RI with Kevin Gilmore.
This is a great opportunity for growth to accomplish the task of developing your voice.
